This free author appearance will appeal to both those who’ve read the book and those who plan to! Marisa Silver will discuss her inspiration for Mary Coin and answer audience questions. Signing to follow. Books will be available to purchase on site, or bring your own copy. Don’t forget to visit our pop-up on-site exhibit at this event about today’s migrant workers courtesy of local chapters of the Human Rights Watch Student Task Force.

Tickets available starting February 12 at the FOL website or at any of the 3 Santa Clarita Public libraries. Cost is $20 for Friends of Santa Clarita Library members, and $30 for all others.
